  4.     If there is something you wanted to know about recycling, but
  5. were afraid to ask, then this is a program you definitely want to
  6. check out.  This program will teach you most of what you will need
  7. to know about recycling and what you can do to help preserve our
  8. environment.
  9.  
  10.     There is no fancy video or stunning audio, but this program is
  11. loaded with useful information that can be found and read in a easy
  12. manner.  The information is concise, yet accurate and informative.
  13.  
  14.     There are two sections of this program in which everyone will
  15. find some useful information.  The first area is the house tour.  In
  16. this section, you are given a display of a house with which you can
  17. travel from room to room.  In each room there is some information on
  18. how you can make that room a little more environmentally sound.
  19. Every room in the house is covered, from the kitchen to the bathroom
  20. to the home office.  You will learn what components of your house
  21. are not very "green" and what you can do to improve the situation.

  23.     The second area of interest is called the Projects section.  In
  24. this section there are numerous projects that will educate you while
  25. making the environment safer.  All of these projects can be done
  26. around the home, and a couple of these projects would be a great
  27. group or classroom project.  There is a project here for everyone
  28. above the age of six.  The projects in this section are just a few
  29. of the many great ideas for environmental protection that you will
  30. find throughout the program.

  32.     The other areas of the program include:

  34. *    a Multiple Choice Quiz Section, with which to test your "green"
  35. knowledge.
  36.  
  37. *    a History Overview Section, to give you some background
  38. information on why recycling is important and some of the major
  39. developments concerning recycling and the green way of thinking.

  41. *    an Address Base Section that provides contact information on
  42. various companies and groups that are involved in the recycling
  43. movement, from companies that used recycled products in the
  44. manufacturing stages to publications that cover environmental
  45. issues.
  46.  
  47. *    an Index to quickly find vital information you may need.
  48.  
  49.     If you are interested in learning about recycling and ways you
  50. can make a difference, then this program is a must see.  MicroBase
